Which sensors work with The Cabinet?

Most Govee temp/humidity sensors work — WiFi-connected models (e.g. H5179) and BLE models like the H5110 when paired with a Govee gateway (H5151). Plus Shelly H&T Gen 3. If you have a specific model in mind, email us and we’ll prioritise it.
Do I need to buy a sensor?

Yes. The Cabinet is the dashboard, alarm engine, and AI Curator on top of your hardware — you bring the sensor. We don’t sell sensors ourselves; you buy a Govee or Shelly H&T directly from the manufacturer or any electronics retailer. If you’re unsure which model suits your humidor size or budget, email us and we’ll recommend.
How often are readings updated?

Continuously, on a regular polling cycle against the Govee and Shelly cloud APIs your sensors already report to. Your dashboard is fresh enough in real time to catch lid-opens, ambient drift, and long-running excursions. WiFi-only today; webhook-push support and more sensor families are on the roadmap.

How many humidors can I monitor?

Aficionado includes 1 humidor with 1 sensor. Maestro and Salón are unlimited — including multi-sensor humidors for walk-ins and large cabinets.
Can I share a humidor with my partner?

Yes, on Maestro you can invite up to 5 family members with role-based access (viewer, editor, owner). Salón plans are unlimited.
What is the AI Curator?

Your personal, Claude-powered cigar sommelier. It reads your humidor’s readings, writes daily reports, answers questions in plain English, and can be summoned directly from Telegram.
Can I use The Cabinet for a wine cabinet or brewing setup?

Absolutely — under the hood, it’s a general-purpose cabinet monitoring system. The marketing is cigar-forward because that’s where we’ve focused, but the product handles wine cellars and brewing chambers just as well.

How much is Maestro?

$10 per month, taxes and VAT included. That’s it. No annual lock-in, no tiers within tiers.
Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. One click in your account settings. You’ll stay on Maestro until the end of the billing period, then drop gracefully to Aficionado.
What does Salón cost?

Salón is bespoke — pricing depends on the size of your venue, number of walk-in humidors, and feature set. Reach out and we’ll put together a quote within a day or two.
Privacy & data
Who can see my humidor data?

Only you, and the people you explicitly invite. All tables are locked behind row-level security — even our database can’t cross-query between users.
Can I export my data?

Yes. CSV export of readings and annotations is available on every plan.
