The Cabinet started with a simple complaint between two cigar aficionados: our humidors lied to us, and we couldn’t prove it. Analog hygrometers drift. Digital pucks lose accuracy. Even calibrated sensors only tell you what’s happening at the one place you put them. We built The Cabinet because we wanted the truth, and we wanted it on a screen.
Today it’s a real-time monitoring app for cigar humidors with an AI Curator powered by Claude. Tomorrow it’ll be more. The pace is set by what we’d want ourselves — we are, by some distance, our own most demanding users.
